About the Position:
We are looking for a Jr Logistics Analyst to join the Logistics team, reporting directly to the Logistics Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Amparo.
As the Jr Logistics Analyst at Marelli, you will be responsible for:
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Control minimum and maximum stock levels of raw materials (sheets and tubes) and direct production materials, issuing reports with current balances in the computerized system and analyzing needs to request purchases, transfers, or program changes.
- Contact suppliers (follow up) to regularize late and pending deliveries, as well as request that orders be fulfilled according to priority.
- Analyze the production program planning (MRP) to verify the availability of direct materials, raw materials, and other production resources used, in order to determine the necessary demand.
- Transfer direct materials and raw materials at the highest levels, analyzing schedules and verifying the necessary possibilities for use, in order to avoid exceeding the established limits.
- o Monitor supplier delivery levels, checking through the system's production control reports and spreadsheets to ensure compliance and also the demand for raw materials and components for upcoming schedules.
- Take inventories of production and materials held by third parties on a work account basis, if they are being used in accordance with the production schedule, having to audit, analyze, and enter data into the database, arrange for new shipments of raw materials, in order to ensure the accuracy of the information and that there are no differences, shortages, or deviations in materials.
- Prepare and issue non-compliance notifications to suppliers when faults or defects are diagnosed in raw materials, in order to comply with the requirements of IATF 16949.
- Issue purchase requisitions (RDA) for new or alternative suppliers, requesting them through the computerized program, in order to meet production demands and needs.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Logistics

- Control demand levels for raw materials and direct materials through production scheduling, receipt and movement of raw materials, and monitoring of third-party accounts, conducting inventories and analyzing reports.
