About the Position:
We are looking for a Head of Sales North America Japanese OEMs to join the Sales Electronics team.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes.
As the Head of Sales N.A. at Marelli, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to expand Marelli’s footprint and deepen relationships with Japanese original equipment manufacturers. This role entails leading a specialized sales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the alignment of sales activities with Marelli’s overall strategic objectives.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies targeting Japanese OEMs in North America, focusing on electronics products.
- Align sales targets with Marelli's business goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Team Management and Development:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and development opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within Japanese OEMs, understanding their business needs and challenges.
- Act as the primary liaison between Marelli and its clients, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Intelligence and Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Marelli’s leadership team based on market analysis.
- Sales Operations Oversight:
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and maintain robust sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, supply chain, and other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Facilitate product and technical training for the sales team to stay updated on new products and features.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in sales management, specifically within the automotive electronics industry and dealing with Japanese OEMs.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and practices.
- Fluent English.

- Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Marelli's product lines and the broader automotive electronics market.
