About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Logistics SAP Project Leader to join the Electronic System Supply Chain and Logistics team, reporting directly to the Plant Planning & Logistics Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
 

As the Logistics SAP Project Leader at Marelli, you will be responsible for spearhead the implementation of SAP within our Supply Chain operations at our Aguascalientes plant. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in project management and SAP systems, particularly within the supply chain domain, ensuring seamless integration and enhancement of operational efficiencies.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Lead the end-to-end SAP implementation project for the Supply Chain operations, ensuring alignment with global standards and local requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, procurement, and production, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project plan, schedule, and budget, driving project timelines and milestones.
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of SAP by end-users, providing necessary training and support.
  • Coordinate with external SAP consultants, vendors and internal SAP experts to align on integration and configuration needs.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive resolution of challenges to maintain project success.

  • Monitor project progress, preparing regular status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving enhancements post-implementation for optimal supply chain performance.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Leader or Manager in SAP implementation within Supply Chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules relevant to Supply Chain (e.g., MM, PP, SD, WM).

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful SAP projects delivered on time and within budget.
  • Proficient in Spanish and English, with strong communication and leadership abilities.
