About the Position:
We are looking for an Assembly Manufacturing Supervisor to join the Electronics Plant Manufacturing team, reporting directly to the Production Unit Manager.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Assembly Manufacturing Supervisor at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and production processes to ensure efficient operations.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Production Management: Oversee daily production activities within the electronic systems assembly line. Ensure production schedules and delivery commitments are met by optimizing workflow and resource utilization.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of assembly operators and technicians. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

Quality Control: Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to maintain high-quality standards. Monitor production line outputs and conduct quality inspections to rectify defects or deviations.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Utilize lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.

Equipment Management: Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of assembly equipment and tools. Coordinate with maintenance teams for regular servicing and prompt repair of equipment.

Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Conduct safety training sessions and audits within the assembly area.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including output metrics and downtime analysis. Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related field. Relevant experience can substitute formal education.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an electronic systems assembly environment.
- Familiarity with electronic assembly processes, including soldering and PCB assembly.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, is beneficial.
