About the Position:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor - Selective Soldering to join the Electronic Systems Plant Manufacturing team, reporting directly to the Production Unit Manager.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Manufacturing Supervisor - Selective Soldering at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing the Selective Soldering process in electronics will manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient operations, quality output, and adherence to safety standards.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Production Management:
- Oversee selective soldering operations, ensuring the production schedule is met.
- Monitor workflow and manage resources to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality standards, addressing any issues promptly.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to resolve defects and optimize product quality.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise, train, and motivate production staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide actionable feedback.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.

Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Coordination and Reporting:
- Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics.
- Prepare and deliver reports on production metrics, line performance, and project status.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, specifically in selective soldering processes.
- At least 3 years of Manufacturing Supervisor experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to soldering processes.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems.
- Ability to analyze production data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
- Competence in using statistical tools and software for manufacturing processes.
