About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Plant Manager  to join the Electronics Division reporting directly to the Operations Director.
 

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Leadership & Management: Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics. Ensure the alignment of plant activities with Marelli's global standards and strategies.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to increase production efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards while achieving the plant's operational goals.
  • Team Development: Cultivate a high-performing team by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide training and development opportunities for plant staff.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set performance metrics and conduct regular reviews to ensure the plant meets its objectives. Utilize data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. Promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the plant.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-efficient operations without compromising quality and safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the plant and Marelli's upper management. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, addressing any concerns and providing timely updates on plant performance.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management or similar leadership role, preferably within the automotive or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

  5. Crisis Management: Ability to effectively handle unexpected challenges or emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.

  6. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with modern manufacturing technologies, such as IoT, automation, and data analytics, to boost productivity and efficiency.

  7. Financial Acumen: Strong financial skills to interpret and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial statements effectively.

  8. Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust.
