About the Position:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join the Electronic Systems Project Management team, reporting directly to the Program Manager.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Project Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible for being the customer main interface for all project related matters.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, set timelines, and ensure all activities are aligned with the project goals.
- Team Coordination: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among engineering, production, quality, and other departments.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently and ensure the team is equipped and supported to achieve project objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project timelines and objectives.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet Marelli's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the project team.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- 5+ of experience in project management, preferably within the automotive or electronic systems industry.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field.
- Project management experience with working at least with one of the following OEMs: Stellantis, Nissan, GM, Ford.
- Understanding of electronic systems development and manufacturing processes.
- Leadership of cross-functional teams for the full project management life cycle.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- PMP certification.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, RPT tools.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Communicating upwards and downwards.
- Establishing and execution of project strategy.
- Building self-motivated team.
- High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
