About the Position:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Electronic Systems Plant team, reporting directly to the Plant Manufacturing Quality Supervisor.
This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
As the Quality Assurance Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards and function properly before reaching the market.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Quality Planning: Develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and methodologies tailored to electronic systems. Design comprehensive quality plans and testing strategies to ensure product reliability and performance.

Testing and Evaluation: Conduct rigorous testing of electronic components and systems, including functional, performance, and durability tests. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.

Process Improvement: Analyze data from testing and other metrics to identify areas for process improvement. Advocate for best practices in quality management, leading efforts to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of industry developments and integrate relevant standards into quality practices.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, including test results, defect reports, and quality metrics. Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and present them to stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with design, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure integrated quality throughout the product lifecycle. Facilitate quality reviews and workshops to promote quality awareness.

Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on quality methods and tools. Lead initiatives to improve the overall quality culture within the organization.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control, particularly in the electronics or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and statistical analysis software.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and methodologies.
- Understanding of regulatory standards relevant to electronic systems.
