About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Purchasing Specialist to join the Ryde Dynamics Purchasing Department team, reporting directly to the Plant Purchasing Manager.
This position is based at our office in Bielsko-Biała.
In the role of Plant Purchasing Specialist at Marelli, your main purpose will be to manage the procurement process
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Purchasing Management: acquiring materials, components, and services necessary in accordance with specifications and quality requirements and target cost received
- Cost Optimization: seeking opportunities to reduce purchasing costs through price negotiations, supplier selection, and the use of alternative materials.
- Building Supplier Relationships: developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure supply stability and favorable trade conditions
- Ensuring Compliance: adhering to purchasing procedures, ethical standards, and legal regulations
- Supporting Production Operations: collaborating with production and logistics teams to minimize downtime and optimize delivery schedules
What Qualifications you will bring:
- At least higher education: preferably in technical or economic fields
- English C1 fluency in spoken and written English
- Italian and other languages are welcome
Other skills that we would welcome:
- SAP knowledge: logistics and purchasing module
- Presentations & database creation with MS Office
