About the Position:
We are looking for a Cyber Security Design Engineer to join the Propulsion - System Engineering team, reporting directly to the Cyber Security Design Manager.
This position is based at our office in Bologna.
As the Cyber Security Design Engineer at Marelli, you will analyze the customer requirements for cyber security and software update and will be responsible of the cyber security concept definition, design in Autosar and non-Autosar environment.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Analyze customer requirements in the areas of software download and cyber security
- Design software download and cyber security strategies. The output of this activity SW units are provided with software requirement specification (SRS) and software detailed design (SDD) managing the traceability between SDD and SRS
- Verify units performing code review, static code analysis (MISRA rules) and supervise unit testing activity with Vector cast
- Be responsible of the software architecture (ASPICE SWE 2), integration and integration test (ASPICE SWE 5)
- Ensure reuse of solution among different projects
- Ensure that implemented solutions are compliant with cost target (RAM, ROM, CPU exec time)
- Measure and monitor software module static and dynamic metrics
- Achieve software module formal quality target defined by company Process Guidelines
- Configure the software units to be integrated in the integration package
- Provide post-delivery support for integration and for bug fixing
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Minimum education: Graduate of a higher education technical institution
- Desired level of education: Bachelor Degrees or equivalent in one of the following academic courses:
Electronic Engineering
Computer Engineering - Experience with cryptographic protocols, chain of trust processing, key and certification handling and anti-spoofing techniques
- Knowledge of ISO 21434 norm
- Experience with pen-testing strategy
- Experience in Secure Boot and secure software updates design
- Experience with UDS diagnostic protocol
- Deep knowledge of HSM hardware architecture
- Proficient experience (at least 3 years) in embedded software understanding, analyzing and development (C language);
- Knowledge of testing/debugging tool such us Lauterbach emulators and CANoe/CANalyzer
- Knowledge of Python scripting language
- Capability to read electronic schematics;
- Deep Knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD, LIN communications protocols
- Good communication skills and the ability to interface with customer
- Troubleshooting, problem-solving and analysis skills attitude
- Fluent English
- Hands-on experience with Autosar architecture, specification and toolchain (Vector DaVinci)
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience with Autosar OS (MICROSAR OS, RTA OS and ERIKA3 OS)
- Experience in developing safety critical embedded software functions in compliance with ISO-26262 norm
- Experience working with Tri-Core and ARM architecture micro-controllers and hightec compiler
- Familiarity with ASPICE engineering processs
- Experience in complex drivers design and development
- Experience with Ethernet networking protocols
- Experience on Atlassian tool chain
- Experience on IBM Doors tool
