General Summary
- Responsible for MNA locations compliance with OSHA, EPA Regulations, & ISO 45001
- Creates/revises/implements OSHA & EPA training, tracks safety training
- Creates/revises/implements & monitors safety/environmental policies
- Compiles & disseminates accident trends by department to supervisors/managers
- Communicates with other plant location safety personnel on incidents and horizontal deployment
- Coordinates ISO 14001 program.
- Manages Workers Compensation claims
- Directs Safety Committee activities, and monthly safety audits, track supervisor monthly audits
- Directs supervisors and management in incident/accident investigations.
- Partner with NNA security as needed
- Communicates frequently with internal contacts and occasionally with external contacts on various issues
- Responsible for administration and tracking of all site safety and EHS training initiatives
- Plans, deploys, and tracks all safety and EHS communications
- Performs other duties as necessary

WORKING CONDITIONS
This work is performed in a manufacturing and office environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The incumbent must: * Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and generally five plus years experience in related field

- An advanced degree and generally four plus years of experience in a related field.
- Certification may be required in some areas.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
