About the Position:

 

We are looking for a ELD Engineer to join the AL Research&Development team, reporting directly to the Research&Development Manager.

This position is based at our office in Changchun.

As the ELD Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible complete the product design based on the customer’s request, fully involved in the project of the design area so as to satisfy the needs of the markets as well as achieve the company's mission.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Work as an individual or member of a design team on the design of child parts or complete products and is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the drawings, be it three dimensional or two dimensional computer generated models or manual drawings and part lists.
  • Defines and issues alterations of parts and part lists according to Engineering Change Requests.
  • Provides support to production, QAS, PUR and their vendors and SAL in order to help them to achieve their individual targets.
  • In order to achieve best results, he makes use of all available resources such as company norms and standards, abides to design rules and makes use of available design simulation tools and prototypes.
  • Participates and contribute in QRCs, FMEAs and team meetings
  • To follow up all test matters on the designated projects until G7 is completed.
  • Be familiar with FAW/FAW-VW, frequently customer interaction needed, coordinate internal to fulfill customer request.
  • Work timely on other tasks as assigned by the Dept. Manager.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • EDUCATION (SCHOOL/SPECIALIZATION): Bachelor of Engineering, equivalent or higher
  • LANGUAGES: Good command of English in both spoken and written, CET 4 is a must;
  • EXPERIENCES:
  • At least 3 years work experience in the design of products for automotive industry or similar parts is desirable;
  • Solid experience in PC skills especially in CAD System software, have the knowledge of CATIA– AUTOCAD software;
