About the Position:

 

We are looking for the ELS Plant Logistics Manager to join the Supply Chain and Logistics ELECTRONICS (ELS) team, reporting directly to the ELS Plant Manager.

This position is based at our office in Chonburi Thailand.
 

As the ELS Plant Logistics Manager at Marelli, you will be support Supply Chain and Logistics ELECTRONICS (ELS)

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Plant manager to define working capital budget and guarantee the fulfillment
  • Manage Customer orders program for short and long terms
  • Define the monthly production plan cooperating with Plant Manager
  • Cooperate with Purchasing to define budget
  • Manage the Supply Chain defining material planning according to the production plan
  • Monitoring budget/balance gap of working capital and inflation
  • Monitor and check the warehouse stock level according to the target assigned
  • Negotiate supplier stock consignment contracts
  • Manage the suppliers in cooperation with Purchasing buyers and sourcing
  • Motivate, organize and encourage the teamwork to ensure the achievement of objectives
  • Evaluate the training needs of the team
  • Guarantee the Safety and Environment Rules

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management field

  • Knowledge of Specific planning tools

  • Lean Manufacturing

  • Product/production process

  • Bargaining techniques

  • Regulations and operational aspects related to safety and environment

  • Microsoft Office

  • Fluent in English

  • Leadership (capability to lead people, lead change and coordinate teams)

  • Problem solving

  • Strong capability to effectively manage relationships and negotiate with peers, subordinates, upper management, customers, partners, suppliers etc.

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Professional experience in automotive industry preferred
