Magneti Marelli Parts & Services is the commercial division of Marelli, distributing spare parts, automotive components and know-how to workshops through a network of distributors on the independent aftermarket.

About the Position:

We are looking for an EMEA Product Manager to join the Product Management Team of the Aftermarket Division. This position is based at our office in Corbetta.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and oversee the assigned product lines throughout their entire life cycle.
  • Take responsibility for the turnover and profitability of the assigned product lines.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and car-park analysis, and define and manage the strategic positioning of the assigned product lines to ensure proper market coverage.
  • Collaborate with countries’ Trade Marketing teams to gather market needs, identify new opportunities and ensure the necessary technical and commercial support for the assigned product area.
  • Support the Purchasing team in defining technical requirements of the products and targets relating to purchase expenses.
  • Manage the purchasing process for MAKE products within the assigned product lines.
  • Organize and deliver training to distributors, customers and sales force about the key characteristics of the assigned product lines.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communication team to create informative material.
  • Define branding and packaging strategies for the assigned product lines in collaboration with the Marketing Communication team.
  • Provide technical support for the assigned product lines during trade shows and events.
  • Update data and catalogs related to the assigned product area in collaboration with the Marketing Communication and Marketing Systems teams.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles within complex, international and multi-product companies.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
  • Knowledge of the market.
  • Economic, statistical and marketing expertise.
  • Technical product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel for business within the geographical area of reference.

  • Ability to dig into detail.
  • Effective communication: ability to interact and communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of stakeholders in different situations (colleagues, suppliers, agencies, etc…).
  • Leadership and collaborative propensity: capability to take important decisions in a fast-paced environment leading to results and to share and cooperate actively with the team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: ability to face unexpected changes and react to new circumstances. Capability to handle multiple priorities, interfaces and tasks.
  • Results-driven approach: to delivery on time field activities is essential.
