About the Position:
We are looking for a Process Launch Management Specialist to join the Electronics team, reporting directly to the Electronics Process Launch Management Manager.
This position is based at our office in Corbetta.
As the Process Launch Management Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible to coordinate and validate Offers and New products Launch activities, securing simultaneous Engineering and Manufacturing Standards application, Capex optimization and re-use, removing roadblocks and assuring a silent launch trough continuous monitoring of the project status, achieving target for the cost, quality and time to market
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Be the first reference of the Division in terms of Process Launch Management for any Manufacturing related task activation.
- Be the reference between Plant Process Launch Management and Product Development team securing Offer activation and delivery, simultaneous Engineering and standards application.
- First manufacturing reference for RFI (Request For Information)/RFQ (Request for Quotation) Kick Off with scope to confirm production site and local Plant PLM nomination, becoming also direct coordinator for multi plant offers and industrialization.
- Validate final Plant Industrial offers in reference to RFI/RFQ, securing new capex avoidance, equipment re-use and best Manufacturing standard solutions.
- Monitoring and first reporting of Manufacturing needs/risks (capex, areas, saturations, etc) based on new opportunities, securing further study deployment onsite and with Central ELS AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering).
- Monitoring and reporting of Process Milestones, Process readiness and baseline Process KPIs progress.
- Monitoring and reporting of critical upcoming situations to secure product and process development roadblock avoidance.
- 1st step of escalation support to secure blocking point resolution.
- Monitoring and reporting of Plant PLM training gaps, resources need, structure gaps in reference to the current manufacturing organization.
- Guarantee online and/or onsite support for any relevant blocking points or event at risk, securing the right escalation level for a Silent launch.
- Ensure compliance with Customer requirements and specifications, internal norms, procedures and Function guidelines.
- Monitoring, support and reporting of the Specific manufacturing KDs (Key Deliverables); supporting implementation to ensure Gates approval.
- Support the Project Management tasks and the Plant for the Product Change Requests, mitigating quality, cost and timing impact, continuous improvement and VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Effectiveness) activities.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Strong understanding of Production processes
- Project Management and Project Governance Tool
- Problem Solving approach & Analytic tools and methodologies (e.g. FMEA, FTA)
- Industrial KPI’s (OEE, CT, FTQ) knowledge
- Ability to translate business needs into strategic action
- Drive results, Accountability, and ability to enter and solve conflictual situations
- Awareness, Prioritization and Front-loading orientation
- Act as a leader, promoting collaboration and team working
- Lead inter-functional team (Engineering and Manufacturing)
- Strong capability to effectively manage relationships with peers, subordinates, upper management, customers, partners, suppliers.
- Deep knowledge of IATF16949 requirements, related tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, APQP…) and their application
- Good planning and analytical skill
- Fluent written and spoken English
