About the Position:
We are looking for a Enviromental Laboratory Test Specialist to join the Electronics - Engineering & Innovation Team, reporting to Laboratory’s Manager.
This position is based at our office in Corbetta.
As the Enviromental Laboratory Test Specialist at Marelli, you will execute tests (climatic/thermostatic/mechanical) and report results according applicable Test Plan and/or customer and international standards.
In agreement with Laboratory Manager, contribute to :
- improvement and maintenance of laboratory facilities and methods ensuring compliance with Customers and International standards
- internal best practices standardization proposals
- test facilities usage optimization
- new installed equipment setup and integration
Your Responsibilities will be:
Laboratory Tests activities:
- Participate to Test campaign ticket review process when assigned by Test LAboratory Manager (veryfying validation needs, monitoring features, ....)
- Handle DUTs (reception, data recording, storage) in compliance with Information Security requirements (Tisax related ones in particular) and with Laboratory Procedure
- Be autonomous in test set-up, in launch of enviromental test and functional monitoring sequences, in the analysis of test logs and in the rekease of defects alert in available toolchain (Jira)
- Perfom tests campaigns as per Project Test Plans and/or customer standards
- Share regularly test status with the project team (mainly with PVL, Electrical and Environmental Engineers) and cooperate with Functional Engineers and development team to ensure fast and reliable failure analysis in case of findings
- Edit test reports as per internal procedure and/or customer requirements
Ensure compliance to Laboratory Procedures:
* Comply with Laboratory Quality System Manual, ISO17025 standard (if applicable), IATF16949 S2 prescriptions, Health & Safety procedures in performing daily tasks
* Timely alert Laboratory Manager in case of violation of standards occurring in Laboratory activities or Laboratory environment
* Highlight timely to Health & Safety site referent and Laboratory Manager any potential safety risk identified in Laboratory Environment, Laboratory procedures or daily tasks
Metrology of Test Facilities (including monitoring tools): Timely alert Laboratory Manager in case of identification of measuring equipment out of calibration date
If requested by Laboratory Manager and if trained for the specific task:
- ensure calibraton of test and/or monitoring facilities as per its classification (critical/ controlled/ indicative)
- update metrology Equipment database
- proactively schedule and perfom intermediate controls (between calibrations events)
What Qualifications you will bring:
Bachelor degree in Engineering/Physics (electronical preferred) or high school diploma (technical disciplines)
English
Familiarity with electronic equipment testing for development and manufacturing
