About the Position:
We are looking for an Environment & Remediation Engineer to join the Marelli EHS&E corporate team, reporting directly to the the Head of Remediation, Footprint & EHS Capex.
This position is based at our office Marelli Europe S.p.A. Corbetta (Viale Aldo Borletti, 61/63 20011 Corbetta (MI), Italy).
The Environment & Remediation Engineer plays a critical role in managing environmental remediation projects for both active and inactive Marelli sites worldwide. This position requires ensuring compliance with local laws and strategic objectives. The Specialist works closely with MARELLI Businesses, providing technical and strategic support to ensure successful environmental remediation efforts.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead and manage remediation projects globally, aligning with local legal requirements and Marelli’s strategic goals
- Assist in organizing tenders for acquiring external environmental support
- Conduct assessments of remediation technologies, considering feasibility studies while balancing technical, sustainable, and economic factors
- Coordinate with the Legal Department and external consultants across all MARELLI Businesses to ensure project execution
- Participate in official meetings with regulatory authorities as necessary
- Provide support for Global Remediation CapEx/OpEx budgeting involving collaborations with a panel of internationally recognized companies
- Environmental due diligence: assessment on activities for green & brown-field sites, site closure, site dismantling in each case of property transaction in collaboration with panel of internationally recognized companies
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Environmental Engineer or Civil Engineer
- 5+ years of proven experience in the environmental engineering and project management with a focus on remediation
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Italian

- Effective communication skills for interactions with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders
