About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Key Suppliers Specialist to join the Electronics Supply Chain Management team, reporting directly to the Key Suppliers Management Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Corbetta (MI), Italy.
 

As the Key Suppliers Specialist at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring the supply in order to meet the production plan.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Check in ERP system the information regarding inventory, production needs, orders and deliveries of components vs suppliers and customers.
  • Work on reporting data for the management of the shortage/allocation of components.
  • Keep in contact and work closely with Logistics Planners in different Marelli production sites, in order to split the delivery plan among locations to cover the supply shortage.
  • Work together with the purchasing department for managing escalation with suppliers.
  • Keep periodical meetings with suppliers to check deliveries and solve the supply shortage gap, if any.
  • Monitor exceptional transportation, if necessary.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Degree in Economics, Engineering or an equivalent one
  • Experience with ERPs (i.e. SAP)
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • English: fluent
  • Previous experience in Logistics or Supply Chain departments

  • Previous experience in automotive industry

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
