About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Sales Planning Specialist  to join the Sales Department in Electronic Systems, reporting directly to the Sales Planning Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Corbetta.
 

As the Sales Planning Specialist at Marelli, you will plays a critical role in optimizing our sales strategies and supporting the execution of data-driven decisions.

Your Responsibilities will be:

Sales Forecasting and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with the Sales team and other stakeholders.

Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and refine the overarching sales strategy, integrating sophisticated analytics, market insights, and competitive analysis to drive revenue growth and market share expansion about several timeframe. Lead the analysis of deviations from plans and the comparison and cooperation with pure sales team to deepen the root causes.

Data Management: Maintain and enhance sales data dashboards, providing real-time insights to the Sales team. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all sales planning platforms.

Process Optimization and Innovation: Evaluate current sales processes to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Implement innovative solutions and continuous improvement practices to enhance sales productivity. Take the lead during audit on sales processes.

Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Leverage market data and sales performance metrics to generate insights that lead to actionable strategies for growth. Support decision-making with robust data analysis and presentation about market conditions, technology evolution, competitors, prices, volumes, orders trends. Share requested information with all other involved internal departments.

Sales Enablement and Tools: Lead the design and deployment of advanced sales tools and resources,  sales enablement platforms, and training programs, tailored to empower the sales force.

Performance Analytics and Optimization: Design and monitor a comprehensive system of sales metrics and KPIs leveraging big data and predictive analytics to support decision-making, forecast accuracy, and strategic pivots.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, product management, Finance and IT departments to ensure alignment on commercial strategies and initiatives

Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports to management, highlighting performance metrics and actionable insights. Communicate effectively across departments to support sales initiatives and resolve any discrepancies in planning and execution

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis software and languages (e.g., Excel, Power Bi, Power Query, DAX).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and tasks prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
