About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Manufacturing Planning Manager to join Electronics Corbetta Plant team, Logistics Department reporting directly to the Logistics Manager
 

This position is based at our office in Corbetta Plant.
 

As the Logistics - Manufacturing Planning Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible to assure production planning coherently with customers requests and Plant's KPI

Your Responsibilities will be:

Main Activities/responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the weekly planning cycle process;
  • Define the MPS (Master Production Schedule) for the short term visibility up to 24 months horizon;
  • Check daily with the planner of the production the progress of the production plan and activate recovery actions, where necessary;
  • Check weekly with Customer service the coherency of production plan with customer demand and the production Units on the priorities to follow;
  • Support management and Finance on recurring revenues best estimation analysis for short and middle term period
  • Support Customer Service & Central Supply Chain in Demand Variation analysis and its impact on production plan continuity and stock
  • Support Customer Service and Sales on Claim management according “Plant First Strategy”
  • Partner in team with process Engineering, sales, procurement, production to manage the introduction of new products or on going product changes

 

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering Economics, Logistics or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in Logistic-Manufacturing Planning, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication & conflict management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively 
  • Detail & Excellence oriented, with strong organizational and tasks prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English
