About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Global KAM-Volvo Account Developer Director to join the Commercial & Marketing central Team team, reporting directly to the Mercedes-Volvo-JLR Key Account Executive.
 

This position is based in Sweden working in a full-remote modality with regular business trips to the Customer in Sweden or abroad when needed.
 

As Global KAM-Volvo Account Developer Director at Marelli, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining robust relationships with the company’s most valuable clients. This role is crucial for securing the organization’s revenue streams and ensuring client satisfaction through exemplary service and understanding of client needs. The Volvo Account Developer will work cross all Marelli Businesses  acting on a global and group base to identify customer’s goals, to plan and execute strategies to achieve business targets, and ultimately, to coach Divisions’ Key Account supporting sales growth.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Act as the main point of contact and manage all aspects of the business relationship.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop trusted advisor relationships with Divisions’ key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and grow opportunities within the assigned customer and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment through the introduction of new products, services, and tailored solutions.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly development initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular feedback to management regarding market intelligence and competitive analysis.
  • Tracking and projects overview: Monitoring the ongoing projects being aware of current status, collecting information from Division/Local Team in charge of the project with the final aim to evaluate escalations or further actions to fix potential issues facilitating the resolution to maintain trust on customer side
  • Claim Management: Being the referral point and the first escalation level about any claim linked to the assigned customer; addressing and overseeing Divisions’ key accounts during claim’s setting, support negotiation in front of the customer and keep the Top Management informed about the current status.

What Qualifications you will bring:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.

·         At least 15 years of experience in Sales & Business Development, Account Management, Project Management or a similar role, preferably with a focus on key or strategic accounts from a Global perspective.

·         Real and proofed network within Volvo organization at the highest level.

·         Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.

·         High level of comfort working with clients at the executive level.

·         Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel).

Expectations from you in this position:

•Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the assigned key account.

•Develop and execute strategic account plans that result in a measurable increase in revenue and account penetration compared to the previous fiscal year.
