About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer Quality Position to join the Quality ELS team, reporting directly to the Plant Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Manesar.
Your Responsibilities will be:
1. Reduction in customer PPM, Enhanced Customer Ranking/scorecard & Improve Customer Satisfaction Scores
2. Act as the main point of contact for customer quality issues, representing Marelli on-site and remotely as needed
3. Manage customer complaints and Warranty concerns, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely reporting (8D, CAPA, etc.).
4. Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns through structured problem-solving methods (F3A, 8D, 5Why, Fishbone, etc.).
5. Lead root cause investigations for reported claims/defects from customer
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
7. Validate effectiveness of corrective measures through testing and data analysis
8. Analyze quality performance metrics (PPM, Defect Rates) and drive improvements.
9. Support New Product Introduction by reviewing Lesson Learnt and process FMEAs.
10. Promote Zero-Defect culture within the organization.
11. Conduct on-site visits to customer/supplier locations for quality discussions as needed, facilitate customer audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
12. Proficient in PCBA Level Analysis. Knowledge of PCBA Circuit/Components
13. Knowledge of SMT process, soldering standards (IPC-A-610), Robotic Soldering’s, EOL testing, ESD [Electrostatic Discharge]
14. Monitor and ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements like PPAP, CARV, 4M & SMIR Report, IMDS.
15. Specific CSR : MSIL VSA Audit, Stellantis MPA Audit, VW/SK : VDA Audits, Be0N Submission, Suzuki : SIS-P Requirements.
16. To initiate segregation at customer end & at plant level to protect the customer in case of any claim from the customer.
17. Knowledge of customer portals. To communicate & ensure the customer quality manual, CSR requirements are met with the organization.
What Qualifications you will bring:
B.E./B.Tech/ in Electronics
[1] 3 – 5 Yrs. in Automotive Sector and Customer Quality
[2] Minimum 3 Years Experience on Electronic Components
Other skills that we would welcome:
Knowledge of Automotive Embedded electronic product( Instrument Cluster )
Knowledge of electrical components viz. Microcontroller, Regulator, Capacitors, Resistor etc. and interpretation of their data sheets
Knowledge of Embedded systems
Experience in using various instruments CRO,Spectrum Analyzer,Multimeter e.t.c
Coomunication Skills, Relation ship Building
Design knowledge of Integration of product in vehicle following simulation experience.
Knowledge of IATF 16949 & Quality Core Tooles
Working Knowledge of ICT,EOL Bench
Able to understand Schemtic from Product drawing
Prefferable if already handled Maruti Suzuki & Suzuki Two Wheeler Customer
