About the Position:

 

We are looking for a AMT Transmission Calibration to join the Product Development Team at Propulsion Solutions, reporting directly to the Calibration Manager.
 

This position is based at our Customer location in Pune.
 

As the Calibration Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate Calibration activities at Customer location.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for complete transmission control software calibration and validation.
  • Shift point definition for drivability, performance, emission and fuel economy improvement.
  • Responsible for calibration data management, calibration integration & release to customer.
  • CAN database verification / mapping during project development phase.
  • Environmental trials support for customer to meet the vehicle performance targets through transmission calibration optimization in varying environmental condition.
  • Responsible for defining and validating the engine torque interface with engine management system to meet gearshift and drivability requirements.
  • Clutch management- Clutch base controls calibration, Clutch torque reference management during gearshifts, vehicle launch, anti-stall etc.
  • Meeting the customer requirements on vehicle launch, crawling and gearshift quality related items.    
  • Customer Interaction on daily / weekly basis to understand vehicle / bench validation status and SW bugs.
  • Customer reported defects needs to be validated and JIRA ticket to be created for internal / external tracking purpose. 
  • Responsible to calibrate and validate diagnostics, EOBD & functional safety concepts
  • Customer interface for problem solving in industrialization, necessary support to internal and external customers.
  • To work on the new technology like BS-6 / Hybrids / AMT / DCT
  • Travel to customer location to support development activities.

What Qualifications you will bring:

Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, with a preference for an M.Tech in Automotive Engineering.
