About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join the Commercial & Marketing team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Marketing and functionally to Regional Key Account Manager.
This position is based at our office in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
As the Customer Marketing Manager at Marelli, you will develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for target accounts in the respective region. This role is critical to future growth and will be a key driver in achieving Marelli’s customer diversification targets. The Customer Marketing Manager will work closely with Marelli’s Account Management team to develop a deep understanding of the decision makers at target OEMs and their needs, using this insight to tailor value propositions and messaging to increase awareness and position Marelli for RFI/RFQ.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Work collaboratively with Key Account Management teams to develop account-based marketing (ABM) plans, focused on growing and diversifying the customer base
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to increase awareness and reduce knowledge gaps across the product portfolio, using a variety of marketing channels and touchpoints (in-person events, workshops, webinars, advertising, digital newsletters, etc.)
- Identify and manage participation in industry and customer-specific events to support the ABM strategy
- Drive a repeatable and scalable ABM approach by developing creative, compelling, and customizable digital campaigns, working closely with Key Account Management to tailor messaging, content, and presentation materials
- Use a data-driven approach to continuously improve marketing efforts, determine how to best communicate with the customer, and use campaign data to help win more business
- Partner with product and central marketing teams to execute ABM plans, including:
- Product marketing team to co-develop content to support direct-to-customer outreach
- Digital team to plan and launch email campaigns, build and maintain dedicated customer landing pages
- Events team for tradeshow and Technology Day planning and execution
- Communications team to promote wins and program launches
- Collaborate with other Customer Marketing Managers to benchmark, share best practices, and
leverage/re-use existing marketing content - Additional responsibilities to include:
- Management of onsite product showcase, keeping physical and digital content up to date
- Marketing budget and expense management
What Qualifications you will bring:
- The Customer Marketing Manager role is mid to senior level, ideal for a candidate with a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in the field
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required in business, marketing, advertising, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in the English language
- The right candidate is a self-starter, ready to hit the ground running and willing to learn
- Experience in account-based marketing, event planning, and content creation
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally with executives, earning respect and trust
- Experience in the automotive industry (OEM and/or supply chain) is highly desired
- Ability to function as a strategic advisor to business leaders and functional groups
- Ability to articulate the market position, value proposition, and strategic differentiators of the brand and key technologies
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work in a complex, highly technical global environment with matrix reporting
