About the Position:

We are looking for an IT Internal Audit manager who will join the Internal Audit team based in Gurugram, India, reporting directly to Head of Internal Audit in Japan.

As the IT Internal Audit manager position will be responsible for evaluation and improving the effectiveness of the organization’s general control as well as cyber security controls, processes, and policies.  This role involves conducting thorough audits with in-depth knowledge of IT general control and cyber security threats and vulnerabilities as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  1. Audit Planning and Execution:
    • Plan and perform a comprehensive internal audit plan focusing on IT general controls and cyber security. based on independent research and knowledge, interactions with company leadership and peer benchmarking.
    • Conduct detailed audits of IT systems, networks, applications and security controls.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and identify areas for improvement. 
  2. Risk Assessment:
    • Assess IT general control and cyber security risks and vulnerabilities across the organization.
    • Identify and Prioritize potential threats, weaknesses, and control gap.
    • Recommend risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
  3. Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and standards relating to the IT general controls and cyber security operation.
    • Stay updated on IT general controls and emerging cyber security regulations and best practice.
  4. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Draft, prepare and submit detailed audit reports including findings, recommendations and action plans as required in the global internal audit procedures.
    • Coordinating with external auditors to reduce level of effort and duplication.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in cyber security, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT security, Accounting Finance or related subject                                                                                                                                      
  • 10-12 years of IT audit experience.
  • General knowledge of IT/technology risk/control frameworks (COSO, COBIT)        
  • Windows Network/Active Directory, Firewalls, Encryption, Anti-virus, intrusion detection.
  • A professional audit/IT/technology (CISA, CIA, CISM, etc) certification preferred.  
  • Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications such as SAP.
  • Have strong analytical, communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs and work independently.               
  • Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.                                                                                                                                              
  • Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment with various ERP systems.
  • Experience developing and leading a data analytics program.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook/Teams, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
