About the Position:
We are looking for a Multimedia Engineer to join the ELS Division.
This position is based at our office in Bengaluru
As the [Job Title] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
Mandatory Skills: Key skills specific to Android IVI Multimedia engineers
Experience in developing and extending Android Java /Native Framework (Multimedia components & Policy configuration - Audio Manager/Audio HAL/Stagefreight, ALSA)
Experience in Android Muti media Framework: development of native media players.
Designing and development of Android framework modules for products involving Camera, Video, Audio technologies
Experience with multimedia solutions and Frameworks: Gstreamer, OpenMAX
Experience in integration and use of Graphics libraries and frameworks for application /services development for QNX/Linux - EGL, OpenGL, QNX Screen
Experience with existing AOSP middleware service systems (IPC, system policy, etc).
IPC mechanism Binders/SharedMemory
Compliance to CTS/VTS and support in resolving defects.
Expertise in Java, Embedded C/C++ programing, JNI, Code Debugging and Analyzing issues in Android applications framework, and AOSP/HAL.
Knowledge of configuration Mgmt Tool and Defect Tracking Tool.
Nice to Have: Development experience on Media Player application on Android, Android/Linux/QNX OS, JIRA, bitbucket & Confluence etc.

B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech or any Engineering
2-4 years of experience
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience working on Qualcomm Android Platform with QNX Hypervisor would be desirable.
- Experience in Android and QNX/Linux development projects.
- Expert knowledge of UML (Unified Modeling Language, e.g. Enterprise Architect)
- Deep expertise in developing Media Player or Media SDK .
- Experience integrating Media Player business logic application on Android platforms.
- Experience working on Android 11 or later would be desirable.
- Experience in Opensource Android frameworks and porting.
- Experience as Software Project of embedded software projects in an international environment.
- Competencies in software development, architecture, configuration management, integration and validation for Realtime, embedded, concurrent applications in the automotive field.
- Experience in SW development
- Strong knowledge of core java concepts, Object-oriented programming (OOP), design pattern, and android java frameworks is required.
