About the Position:

 

We are looking for a [MFE Engineer]  to join the [PS Hefei] team, reporting directly to the [MFE Manager].

This position is based at our office in [Hefei].
 

As the [MFE Engineer] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate:

  1. Manufacturing system continuous improvements to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing cost, make products as competitive level;
  2. Provide support for the standard work methods/on site organization and train and validate operators;
  3. Coordinate with PLM team to introduce new project.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Make initial process analysis and quotation for new projects (including components make or buy analysis, equipment and tooling investment);
  • New project initiatives proposal and leading the new project in process development phase;
  • Qualify the machines at supplier, prepare, organize and lead installation in the production plant, performing qualification, and support production ramp-up
  • Support project manager to make some samples; Make pre-acceptance at supplier’s plant; Install and debug the production line and validate the final process;
  • Prepare relevant process documents (including layout of shop floor, equipment and tooling technical contract, process flow chart, PFMEA, Process card, WIs, package and delivery specification);
  • Support quality team to deal with customer compliant and customer audit;
  • Be responsible for maintaining process and problem solving during mass production
  • Support all engineering change activities impacting the manufacturing process;
  • Support IATF 16949 requirements
  • Other jobs as assigned by Manufacturing Engineering Manager. 

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanics or electronics
  • At least five years of working experience as a assembly engineer in automotive industry.
  • For those with academy degree, 5~7 years of working experience is acceptable
  • Be familiar with Pressing, welding process and Leakage Test
  • Be familiar with Screwing and EOL and camera detection.
  • Be familiar with Poka Yoke and MES traceability system
  • Having the PLC knowledge is preferred.

  • Good communication skill, a good team player;
  • Good oral and written English communication ability;
  • Good computer skills :Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD etc.
  • Work hard, strong interpersonal and expressional abilities expression, enterprising and good team worker.
