About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Purchasing Manager who will join Purchasing, Automotive Lighting & Sensing team to manage purchasing activities. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plant Purchasing Manager for our plant located in Jihlava. In this role, you will be responsible for leading purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and developing procurement strategies to ensure optimal cost, quality, and supply performance.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Manage all plant-level purchasing processes and activities
- Lead and support negotiations with suppliers, ensure contract compliance
- Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Cooperate closely with local and global cross-functional teams
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and sustainability principles
What Qualifications you will bring:
- University degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement in manufacturing (min. 3 years), preferably in automotive
- Advanced English language skills (spoken & written);
- ERP system (SAP in an advantage) and MS Office proficiency
