About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Industrial Controller  to join the Finance AL&S  team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Cd. Juarez, Mex. Plant 1
 

As the Industrial Controller at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate

Manage and optimize processes for financial planning and cost administration, providing support in decision-making related to the strategic plan, annual budget, forecasts, costs, inventory, and financial performance reports. Support compliance with policies and internal controls in the manufacturing plant, and collaborate as a strategic business partner by promoting continuous improvement and the development of the finance team.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Develop and manage the plant’s strategic plan and annual budget, including the preparation of forecasts and management of financial objectives.
  • Analyze and report financial performance through KPIs: sales, costs, investments, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform financial modeling to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Provide financial support in resource management (costs, inventory, budget, expenses).
  • Conduct detailed analysis of customer sale prices, monitor and report sales volumes, and identify and explain price variations related to commercial negotiations.
  • Manage price accruals and ensure proper accounting, reviewing periodic reconciliations and integrity in records.
  • Prepare reports on price variations, evaluate impact on margins and profits, and recommend strategic adjustment or improvement actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and internal processes, promoting a culture of compliance and control.
  • Actively participate in analysis and implementation of improvements to optimize financial processes.
  • Act as financial partner to the plant management team, providing a critical and strategic perspective for achieving overall goals.
  • Promote and ensure correct application and dissemination of internal and external requirements and standards related to quality, safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead annual costing activities, identifying opportunities to strengthen technical capabilities and promote professional growth of the team.
  • Drive the use of digital technologies and analytical tools to streamline financial area work processes.
  • Participate in the preparation and tracking of cycle inventories and material costing, supporting build of materials management.
  • Manage periodic financial management reports using SAP and advanced Excel.
  • Foster continuous improvement and harmonization of processes in the finance area.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.

LANGUAGE:
Advanced English.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years in financial planning, management control, financial analysis, and reporting, preferably in the consumer manufacturing industry.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTING EDUCATION:
Relevant experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, results management, and implementation of internal controls in global companies.

DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE:
Cycle inventories, material costing, advanced SAP and Excel management, knowledge of build of materials, international standards (IATF-16949, ISO-14001, ISO-45001, MMS), technology tools applied to financial processes.

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies to streamline financial and operational processes.

Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, building relationships across departments and locations.

Capability to support and drive change initiatives in response to evolving business or regulatory requirements.

Learning Agility:
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new challenges, systems, and technologies.
