About the Position:
We are looking for a Logistic Manager to join the Logistic ALS team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez, Mx.
As the Logistic Manager at Marelli, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall supply chain and logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective product distribution. This role involves optimizing processes, coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory, and leading a logistics team to achieve company objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze and optimize logistics networks and supply chain processes.

Operations Management:
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Monitor and improve efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.

Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales to forecast demand and manage supply levels.

Supplier and Vendor Coordination:
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to obtain the best possible terms.

Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and develop a team of logistics professionals.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.

Budget Management:
- Prepare and manage the logistics budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency improvements.

Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, health and safety standards.
- Implement risk management programs and safety protocols.

Technology Utilization:
- Leverage logistics management software and technologies to streamline operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management.
- Experience in international logistics and different modes of transportation.
