About the Position:

We are looking for a QMC  to join the Quality, Automotive Lighting & Sensing team, reporting directly to the Quality Plant Manager.

This position is based at our office in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico.

 

As the QMC at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Provide immediate attention to the customer and the quality resident in case of notification of customer failures. 
  • Validate customer quality complaints, coordinate containment actions, analysis and implementation of corrective actions. 
  • Prevent quality escalations with the customer. 
  • Feedback and closure of customer complaints through appropriate means and processes. 
  • Ensure customer portals are populated according to customer expectations: claims, warranties, audits. 
  • Ensure quality KPIs with the customer are keeping in green or on target: Monitor daily performance and coordinate analysis, execution and validation of effectiveness of actions to achieve and stay on target. 
  • In case of detecting conditions or product that represent a quality risk to the customer ensure that immediate containment actions are implemented and actions are taken to prevent recurrence. 
  • Monitor and report performance and status of customer complaints on a daily basis (customer complaints, notifications and resident reports). 

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  •  3 years in quality in the automotive industry (preferably in plastic injection and products with cosmetic characteristics). 
  • 2 years in similar position and personnel coordination. 
  • Advanced English

Other skills that we would welcome:

 

  • Problem analysis and solution (8Ds). 

  • Statistics process control. 

  • Interpretation and monitoring of automotive specifications. 

  • Product and process audits (VDA6.3 and VDA6.5). 

  •  Core tools. 

  • IATF 16949 standard requirements.                                                                              

  • Customer service skills

  • Corrective actions are taken to eliminate re-work. 
  • Detect and implement continuous improvement actions in productive areas (MMS Methodology).  
  • Training of personnel in topics of their domain, area and experience.
