About the Position:
We are looking for a Quality Manager to join the Quality team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez, Mexico, Planta 1.
As the Quality Manager at Marelli, your role would likely focus on in overseeing and enhancing the quality management systems within an organization.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Quality Management System (QMS) Oversight:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Standards and Compliance:
- Ensure that all processes meet established quality and regulatory standards. This includes preparing for and managing audits and assessments.

Continuous Improvement:
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement of products and processes using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D.

Staff Supervision and Development:
- Manage and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning.

Quality Assurance and Control:
- Oversee the quality assurance and control functions to ensure product quality consistency and reliability.

Problem Resolution:
- Address customer quality concerns and lead the investigation and resolution of quality-related problems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Supplier Quality Management:
- Evaluate and collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw material quality and adherence to company standards.

Performance Metrics:
- Develop and monitor quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends, track improvements, and inform strategic decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to integrate quality into every aspect of the product lifecycle.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of quality processes and results, and provide regular reports to senior management.

Customer Satisfaction:
- Enhance customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
What Qualifications you will bring:

Educational Background:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, industrial engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA may be preferred or beneficial in some cases.

Relevant Experience:
- Significant experience in quality assurance, quality control, or related roles within manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry. Typically, 5-10 years of experience is common for a Quality Manager position.

Leadership Skills:
- Proven leadership and management abilities to lead quality teams and drive quality initiatives across the organization.

Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and familiarity with methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Quality Management (TQM).

Problem-solving Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in tools like Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.

Certification:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Six Sigma Black Belt can be advantageous.

Project Management:
- Experience in managing projects and initiatives, with a focus on improving quality processes and systems.

- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet required standards, conducting audits and assessments as necessary.

- Work in partnership with other departments, such as engineering, production, and supply chain, to integrate quality processes throughout the product lifecycle.

- Establish and monitor quality performance indicators and metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
