About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Production Planner  to join the Logistic AL&S team, reporting directly to the Logistic Manager
 

This position is based at our office in Juarez, Mexico  Plant 1.
 

As the Production Planner at Marelli, you will be responsible or organizing and coordinating manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, optimal use of resources, and timely delivery of products. Here are some key responsibilities typically associated with a production planner:

Your Responsibilities will be:

  1. Scheduling: Developing detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and resource availability.
  2. Inventory Management: Ensuring raw materials and components are available to meet production needs without overstocking.
  3. Resource Allocation: Allocating labor, machinery, and materials efficiently to optimize production and reduce costs.
  4. Demand Forecasting: Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to predict future product demand.
  5. Monitoring Production: Tracking production progress to ensure timelines are met and identifying any bottlenecks or issues.
  6. Quality Control: Coordinating with quality assurance to maintain product quality standards.
  7. Cost Management: Analyzing and minimizing production costs while maintaining quality.
  8. Communication: Liaising with various departments (e.g., procurement, logistics, sales) to align goals and resolve challenges.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Implementing lean manufacturing techniques and other strategies to enhance efficiency.
  10. Data Analysis: Utilizing software and data to optimize production planning and decision-making processes.

What Qualifications you will bring:

  1. Education: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain management is often preferred.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and plan effectively.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop efficient solutions.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various teams and departments.
  7. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in scheduling and resource allocation.
  8. Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
  9. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices is beneficial.
  10. Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing demands and work under pressure
