About the Position:
We are looking for a QMP to join the Quality team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Juarez, Mexico, Planta 1.
As the QMP at Marelli, you will be responsible for quality assurance, continuos improvement,auditing and compliance.
Your Responsibilities will be:

Developing Quality Standards: Establish and implement quality standards and procedures for manufacturing and production processes.

Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and processes to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards.

Problem Identification and Resolution: Analyze quality issues to determine their root causes and develop appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

Quality Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of quality inspections, test results, and any deficiencies or deviations noted.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve product design and production processes.

Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and manage the quality performance of suppliers, including conducting supplier audits and quality assessments.

Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.

Compliance and Auditing: Ensure processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prepare for and participate in quality audits.

Training and Education: Educate and train employees on quality control processes and best practices to foster a quality-centric culture.

Data Analysis: Analyze quality-related data to identify trends, patterns, or areas of non-compliance and report findings to management.
What Qualifications you will bring:

Educational Background:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, industrial engineering, or a related field. Some positions may prefer candidates with a master's degree or specific certifications in quality management.

Experience:
- Relevant experience in quality engineering or quality management, typically ranging from 2 to 5 years depending on the position level.
- Experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing environments can be particularly beneficial.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software for quality monitoring and improvement, such as Minitab or similar.

Problem-solving Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in methodologies like Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and 8D.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and to provide training and guidance on quality issues.
- Ability to collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to improve product quality.

Attention to Detail:
- A keen eye for detail to identify quality issues and implement precise corrective actions.

Certifications:
- Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) can be advantageous.
