About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Vave Coordinator to join the Manufacturing AL&S  team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Cd. Juárez, Mex Plant 1.
 

As the Vave Coordinator at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Project Management: Lead and manage VAVE projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze existing products and processes to identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement value engineering concepts and solutions.
  • Supplier Engagement: Liaise with suppliers to identify and implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining strong relationships and meeting quality expectations.
  • Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking studies to identify industry best practices and innovative cost-saving technologies and strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and outcomes to management and other stakeholders.
  • Training & Development: Educate and train team members and other stakeholders on VAVE principles and methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in cost reduction, engineering, or a related field within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate collaboration and report findings effectively.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity simultaneously.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with cost analysis tools and software, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
