About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Assembly Technologist to join the MFE dpt. in Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Leader of the MFE and Maintenance Department.

 

This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.

 

As the Assembly Technologist at Marelli, you will support preparation of preventive and reactive maintenance plan and optimizing the technical availability and performance of the line.

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

  • Setting and managing the parameters and be technical expert on the assigned technological lines.
  • Ensures good technical condition of machines.
  • Ensures optimization of machines.
  • Fulfills the technology indicators of the production unit.
  • Create technical specifications of line and equipment.
  • Follows and regularly uses all available problem-solving tools
  • Actively work with selected line manufacturers in implementation, respecting deadlines and follow procedures for design review.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Reading of technical drawings
  • Creation of the layout and disposition of assembly line and lines in the plant
  • Reading technical documentation and drawings (mainly mechanical and electrotechnical)
  • Ability to create a process on line
  • Key quality tools, basics of FMEA, PPAP, P-FMEA, Control plan, Flow chart
  • Ability to design technical solutions for component assembly and process verification.
  • Ability to create required documents such as reports, action plans,..

Other skills that we would welcome:

  • English language, communicative level
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Autocad
  • Strong sense of organization, planning and control
  • Strong aptitude for logic, technical, analytical and structured thinking
  • High willingness to work in a team

Expectations from you in this position:

  • Support production in continuous process improvement through:
    • support of quality for analysis of customer claims, defective (NOK) parts and scrap parts
    • functionality of measurements and process management tools
    • development of content, corrective actions and improvements in response to abnormalities and deviations found on the line or by customers.
  • Ensure the initial qualification and regular requalification of the machine and other means of production
  • Daily production support in order to ensure the technical availability of production lines
  • Optimizing the technical availability and performance of the line in cooperation with the quality, shift maintenance and production department.
  • Daily shift maintenance assistance:
    • In the event of failure to solve the problems that have arisen, assist and coordinate problem solving, if necessary request support from the central maintenance department.
