About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join the Quality dpt. in Electronics team, reporting directly to the Customer Quality Care Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Customer Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing customer quality issues and driving improvements to ensure Marelli products consistently meet customer standards and satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Manage and resolve customer quality returns, claims, and audit findings.
- Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement for product and process quality.
- Ensure compliance with customer standards and relevant ISO/TS requirements.
- Prepare and analyze quality reports, KPIs, and recommendations.
- Support cross-functional communication to address and prevent quality issues.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- University degree in a technical field, with strong automotive or mechanical background.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, core tools (FMEA, PPAP, Control Plan), and ISO/TS standards.
- Practical experience in conducting audits, driving quality improvements, analyzing data, and communicating effectively in English.

- Proficiency with quality and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Expectations from you in this position:
You will investigate and resolve any customer quality complaints, making sure corrective actions are followed through.
You will also keep quality documentation up to date and regularly share progress reports with both internal teams and customers. It's important to work hands-on with production and engineering teams to prevent issues and drive real improvements in day-to-day operations.
