About the Position:
We are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer to join the Quality dpt. in Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Customer Quality Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality, addressing customer concerns, and driving process improvements for enhanced customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for all customer quality returns and results, including 0km claims, warranty issues, and customer audit results.
- Responsible for quality results: claims, external rejects, sorting and rework activities, customer audits support, and customer satisfaction.
- This responsibility involves performing, monitoring, launching and driving corrective actions regarding customer claims.
- Responsible for all quality issues related to his / her customers and projects; ensures the right focus and application of the appropriate methods and tools for daily priorities.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Experience in automotive industry, technical background.
- University degree in engineering or technical field.
- English language.at advanced level (fluent written and spoken).
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Knowledge of Product and Process
- Statistic Control Process SPC
- Quality core tools (FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP).
- Knowledge of IATF 16 949.
- Structured-minded and discipline oriented.
Expectations from you in this position:
As the Customer Quality Engineer, you will be the main contact for customers on quality matters and responsible for delivering 8D reports in collaboration with process quality. You will also serve as a vital professional partner to the quality manager and plant manager.
