About the Position:
We are looking for a MES Engineer to join the Manufacturing, Electronics team, reporting directly to the MFE manager.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec, Slovakia.
As the MES Engineer at Marelli, you will be reference person for the technical usage and integration of MES systems within manufacturing operations.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Develop and deploy best practices for MES implementation and usage across the plant and collaborate with other plants and IT groups
- Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes through advanced MES capabilities for data capture, analysis, and process control
- Lead the introduction, documentation, and validation of MES technology changes
What Qualifications you will bring:
- MS-SQL database building, usage, maintenance, troubleshooting experiences
- Experiences with C#, Angular programming
- Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, problem-solving oriented, with a proactive approach
- English language
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Strong passion for technology and continuous learning
- AI usage experiences
- Basic knowledge within SMT and assembly manufacturing processes
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- High interest for databases, data mining, data learning and programming
- High motivation to become the technical leader and the key person in MES related topics
Expectations from you in this position:
- Act as a leader in the selection and usage of MES software solutions and hardware integration
- Continuously expand knowledge of MES technologies and share learning across Marelli’s sites
- Analyze data for process improvements, including cycle time reduction and quality enhancements
- Participate in production reviews and initiate actions for improving OEE and reducing waste through MES insights
- Interface with process engineers and IT for new MES developments, system upgrades, and technology integration
- Develop technical specifications for MES projects and manage supplier relationships for MES components
