About the Position:
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance dpt. in Electronics team, reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Maintenance Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for optimizing machinery performance and reliability by analyzing breakdowns, implementing preventative maintenance, and coordinating improvement projects.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Conduct breakdown analyses and implement preventive measures to enhance machine reliability.
- Perform and optimize both autonomous and professional maintenance activities.
- Collaborate on technical specifications and maintenance planning with suppliers for new projects.
- Provide daily technical support and escalate issues to ensure swift resolution of serious breakdowns.
- Facilitate training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance and production efficiency.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Technical expertise in electrics, mechanics, pneumatics, and automation, with a background in a technical field or relevant experience.
- Proficiency in maintenance processes, CMMS, data analysis, and familiarity with ISO standards and continuous improvement tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, along with the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Understanding of robotics and automation systems.
Expectations from you in this position:
- Daily assistance for shift maintenance
- Daily inspection and establishing priorities for maintenance of the Shop and the technical action plan in accordance with the production, quality and maintenance.
- Planning of maintenance and realization activities - autonomous and preventive maintenance, repairs; check the correct implementation (quality, timing, and reporting).
- Optimize technical availability and line performance in cooperation with the Quality, Technology, Maintenance and Production Department.
