About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Quality Process engineer  to join the Quality dpt. in Propulsion solutions team, reporting directly to the Quality coordinator/manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Kechnec Slovakia.
 

As the Quality Process engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate and define the quality requirement orientation for new processes. Actively improve the quality performance using continuous improvement tools and MMS directions.

Your Responsibilities will be:

  • Verify the respect of the standards and improve them, especially IATF, PHA and customer requirement.
  • During the design phase, define self-control cycles control plan, participate to FMEA creation, validate the Quality orientation of the designed process.
  • Manage the daily production check with the support and coordination of the quality inspectors / operators:
    • Quality assessment trials, as required by the Control Plan.
    • SPC data for control processes maintenance.
    • Safety and regulation characteristic recording.
    • Product audits.
    • Process control / audits
  • Monitor and report to the management on weekly basis the quality indicator.
  • Based on the deviation, lead and participate to improvement teams, using improvement tools (PDCA, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Guarantee the update of the Control Plan / FMEA.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • University degree in engineering or technical field.
  • Product and Process Knowledge.
  • Statistic Control Process SPC.
  • Quality core tools - FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP.
  • ISO IATF knowledge and other type of rules required by specific customer.
  • Knowledge in ISO IATF, ISO 14001, 45001, continuous improvement tools.
  • Certified auditor for Process/System. Audit ability.
  • Automotive industry, mechanical background.

  • Economic concepts and Finance basis.
  • English language.
  • Understanding of the importance of the Product Quality and Quality System in manufacturing.
  • High level of self-discipline and organization.
  • Interest for the high standards of the automotive industry.
  • Promoter of quality and organization continuous improvement.

 

Expectations from you in this position:

 

  • Check and ensure the respect of the production standards / rules and IATF procedures.
  • Check and ensure company standards related to the environment protection and safety rules and industrial hygiene within its perimeter.
  • Actively participate to the improvement of the standards.
  • the data; Lead the 8D team.
  • Manage clients’ visits for its relevant products.
  • Ad interim, has the role of customer quality contact or customer representative for his products. He has the responsibility and the authority to ensure that customer requirements are addressed. This includes selection of special characteristics, setting quality objectives and related training, corrective  and preventive actions, product design and development.
