About the Position:
We are looking for a Material Planner to join the Logistics dpt. in Propulsion team, reporting directly to the Material Management Coordinator.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Material Planner at Marelli, you will ensure material availability by reviewing requirements, managing production work orders, and resolving supply-demand discrepancies. You will also communicate across functions and with suppliers to support manufacturing needs.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Reviewing material requirements and determining material priorities.
- Releasing and monitoring production work orders in line with SAP policies.
- Investigating and resolving supply-demand discrepancies.
- Communicating regularly across functions and with suppliers about shortages and deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate data in SAP and preparing daily and monthly reports.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Experience in planning, buying, and using SAP within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, quality tools, and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and communication skills, with proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.

In this position, you are expected to proactively manage material flow, quickly address supply challenges, and keep all stakeholders informed of changes or risks. You should ensure accurate SAP data and reliable reporting, while supporting production schedules and collaborating daily with suppliers and internal teams.
