About the Position:

 

We are looking for a Quality incoming inspection and Laboratory Leader to join the Quality, Propulsion Solutions team, reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
 

This position is based at our office in Kechnec. 
 

As the Quality incoming inspection and Laboratory leader at Marelli, you will be responsible for leading the incoming quality and laboratory team and processes. 

Your Responsibilities will be:

 

 

• Maintaining and improving the entrance control process and laboratory

• Manages the staff entrusted, focusing in particular on safety and health at work as well as the use of resources.

• Regularly assesses the skills and continuous development of laboratory staff and entry control

• Monitors, reports and improves key indicators associated with his work.

• Carrying out entry control according to plans.

• Development and maintenance of inspection plans for component, process and inspection of final products

• Plans and performs calibration of equipment measurements, monitors and continuously improves costs associated with calibration and resource utilization

• Manages the management of spare parts, software and accessories for measuring devices.

• Plans and performs maintenance activities for measuring and testing equipment.

• Introduces ISO 17025 and ISO / TS16949 requirements in the laboratory.

What Qualifications you will bring:

 

  • Knowledge in metrology and calibration.
  • SPC tools.
  • Experience with 2D & 3D measurement devices.
  • Quality core tools - FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, P-FMEA.
  • ISO TS knowledge and other type of rules required by specific customer.
  • Knowledge in ISO TS, ISO 14001, OHSAS, continuous improvement tools.
  • Automotive industry, mechanical background.

Expectations from you in this position:

• Deploys and applies divisional guidelines, best practices and laboratory policies,

• Manages and monitors compliance with laboratory guidelines and regulations.

• Maintains a database of Calvin measuring and testing equipment.

• Verifies and confirms calibration certificates.

• Plans and conducts training on the rules and best practices of statistics and metrology.

• Maintains records related to laboratory activities

• Plans and performs ESD audits with the support of an electronics-division specialist, monitors and reports the effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Purchases, improves and accepts new measuring instruments

• Timely, detailed and professional reporting to the Supplier Quality Department on component quality issues.
