About the Position:
We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the Production dpt. in Electronics team, reporting directly to the Production Shop Manager.
This position is based at our office in Kechnec - Slovakia.
As the Shift Supervisor, you will oversee your team's performance to meet production targets while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. You will also support team development and continuous improvement on your shift.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Organize and manage the production team and machine usage during your shift to achieve output and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental procedures.
- Support team development through training, feedback, and communication.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and optimize processes.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with production planning and process optimization.
- Experience with continuous improvement tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing-related software and reporting tools.
