About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant Finance Controller to join the Interior Experience division reporting to the VP of Finance Control Department. This position is a Hybrid position based at our Lewisburg, TN location. The Plant Finance Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities, aligning with corporate policies to support our overall financial strategy.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of budgets, forecasts, and month-end closings while providing comprehensive variance analysis and financial reviews to support decision-making.
- Recommend and develop policies, procedures, and systems to meet financial objectives; oversee accounts receivable and payable.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and support the evaluation of potential product sourcing initiatives.
- Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Analyze and resolve problems at both strategic and functional levels, supporting the Americas CFO in ensuring effective internal controls for the Interiors Experience Business Line.
- Work to optimize cash management operations with thorough experience in Cash Management and Cash pooling.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (BS), with CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- At least 7+ years of progressive financial experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally as a Tier-1 Supplier in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with technical expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in financial management within a manufacturing setting, with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience in working with Profit & Loss statements and finance/accounting software packages (SAP, Hyperion, Office).
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills, organizational integrity, and dependability.
