About the Position:
We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (Specialist) to join the Job Title team, reporting directly to the HRBP Senior manager, GT Japan. This position is based at our office in Ora, Gunma.
As the Human Resources Business Partner at Marelli, you will be responsible for leading and supporting Human Resources related agenda for Japan region, collaborate with people managers and employees of Japan to achieve their business objectives while creating workplace where employees feel engaged and committed. You will also play part of cricital roles in developing and executing the people related transformational agenda in Japan working closely with Japan HRBP Senior Manager, GT People & Rewards team in Italy, and HR COEs in Japan.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Leading a full spectrum of HR activities including Recruiting, Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Training and Development, Industrial Relations, Reporting and Labor costs as well as Internal Communication, according to HQ global processes.
- Manage the hire to retire transactions on HRIS system and operations, compliant to standard policies and rules.
- Leading global programs such as Engagement activities, Plant Standard Organization, and Talent review and Succession Planning.
- Analyze trends and metrics for Japan organization.
- Monitor training needs for teams and individuals.
- Propose new or modified HR related policies and programs to Center of Expertise team based on business needs of functions.
- Assist the transformative initiatives of Japan, with close coordination with GT Japan HRBP Senior Manager, Global HRBP Counterparts and Functional leaders.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor of Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of total experiences in the business and at least 5 years of which should be in HR COE or HRBP role.
- Japanese and English proficiency
- Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practices of HR including employment law and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite
Other skills that we would welcome:
- Experience working at multinational company, with matrix organization.
- Experience using HRIS systems such as SAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including patience and persistence in approach to develop relationships with stakeholders.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/ tasks at the same time and operate under tight deadlines.
