About the Position:
We are looking for a EHS Manager to join the EHS team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
This position is based at our office in Pulaski TN.
As the EHS Manager at Marelli, you will be provide support to all managers & supervisors by making sure the company is following state & federal regulations regarding safety & environmental issues, including incident investigations.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for site compliance with OSHA, EPA Regulations, & ISO 14001 & 45001
- Creates/revises/implements OSHA & EPA training, tracks safety training
- Creates/revises/implements & monitors safety/environmental policies
- Compiles & disseminates accident trends by department to supervisors/managers
- Communicates to the plant global incidents and Corporate policy deployment
- Manages Workers Compensation claims
- Coordinates Safety Committee activities, and monthly safety audits, track supervisor monthly audits
- Directs supervisors and management in incident/accident investigations.
- Oversee security operations
- Communicates frequently with internal contacts and occasionally with external contacts on various issues
- Responsible for administration and tracking of all site safety and EHS training initiatives
- Responsible for EHS MMS Pillar success
- Maintain strict compliance of hazardous waste management
- Performs other duties as necessary
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required unless has 5+ years of experience in role) or Advanced (Preferred) in a related discipline and generally five plus years’ experience in related field
- Professional Certifications preferred
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
- Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
- Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

Other skills that we would welcome:
Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and/or software.
