About the Position:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Engineering team, reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineer Manager.
This position is based at our office in Pulaski TN.
As the Manufacturing Engineer at Marelli, you will be responsible for maintaining all Assembly equipment standards to ensure flexibility is maintained throughout the department. Supporting any activities that drive established scrap, uptime and cycle optimization to support departmental OEE targets
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Develops and maintains Process flow, control plans and PFMEA’s
- Inputs LIM initiatives to support capitol needed for the Assembly department
- Supervision of development of the FTY (First Time Yield), Development of routings
- Ensure on time process development to support program launch
- Design, development and control of process instructions
- Design and Handling of tooling
- Design and validation of fixtures
- Leading the balancing of lines due to change in requirements
- Organize the tests and validations on the line
- Control of SPC in all Assembly area
- Coordinate the design of the workstation layout
- Ensure the Maintenance of PFMEA’s and Flow Charts
- ECO/ECN Management
- Provide support in project coordination activities
- Provide support and training to employees, as required
- All those activities generated as a result of changes, requirements and/or improvement in the process of the applicable area)
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or similar technical degree (5 years of experience working as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in in the field setting can be substituted for the degree)
- Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant working experience,1 year minimum in the area
- Quality and environmental systems
- Problem solving techniques
- Strong trouble shooting back ground
- Communication techniques
- Training in the work area
- Knowledge of computer packages (MS OFFICE)
- Lean manufacturing and his tools
- Development and structuring of PPAP’s
- Development and structuring of PFMEA ’s
- Control Plan
