About the Position:
We are looking for a [AL&S China Operations Director] to join the [Operations + AL&S/ China] team, reporting directly to the [AL&S China GM].
This position is based at our office in [Shanghai].
As the [AL&S China Operations Director] at Marelli, you will be responsible/support/elevate.....
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Lead and supervise all AL&S China Operations activities ensuring the company is able to produce a good return and a viable environment for the employees, partners, customers and other business associates.
- Plan the organizations and leading entire Operations value stream
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to teams across multiple locations, driving engagement and accountability, foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the operations team.
- Achieve China production and cost targets, manage the staff force and make sure their skills necessary to be continued growth of the business, liaise with local government and etc.
- Develop and execute operational strategies to meet or exceed performance targets and KPIs, focused approach in achieving customer satisfaction and organizational goals. And balance cost to delivery and inventory levels optimization.
- Manage optimization projects, coordinating activities across multiple locations, establish and maintain business relations with existing and potential Key Accounts & Suppliers to engage in activities on existing, new and upcoming regional/global Supply Chain projects.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform operational decision-making.
- Align, lead and successfully execute the long- and short-term business strategy ensuring sustainable Operations results that meets Global and Local targets assigned to the Function.
- As a member of the China management team, participates in the China development of the short and long-term strategy.
- Management of JV, enhance the communication with JV partner and stabilize the operation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, manufaucturing standardization and quality standards
What Qualifications you will bring:

- Management, experience in Componenets industry in MNC, Senior Management characteristics, skills and solid analytical,problem solving skill;
- In-depth expertise in product technology and process technology
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute operational strategie, Senior Management characteristics, skills and solid analytical,problem solving skill,strong understanding of economic issues with the ability to ensure that risks are managed and mitigated.
- Hands-on mentality with data-driven decision making
Other skills that we would welcome:
- PMP is a plus
- Lean and Agile methodology is a plus
- Good networking skills
