About the Position:
We are looking for a [Motor Pump Engineer] to join the [Product Development Department ] team, reporting directly to the [ Product Development Manager].
This position is based at our office in [Shanghai].
As the [Motor Pump Engineer] at Marelli, you will be responsible for the Design and feasibility to meet the required performance of Motor-pumps for whichever Fully active and hydraulic Lifter systems developed by Marelli Ride Dynamics. To be the main interface both internally and externally for all aspects related to software development leading the contents and the methodology.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- The resource will be in charge for the design (both in case of internally developed or external design) and feasibility to meet the required performance of Motor-pumps.
- Analysis of performance targets and deployment over single, detailed technical target of the Motor pump (both E-motor and hydraulic pump).
- Architecture and design solution selection.
- Coordination of development team.
- Definition of MPU testing program.
- Supplier technical assessment and monitoring over the entire development phase.
- Pro-active interaction with internal and external stakeholder (Customer) during development of the MPU.
- Simulation definitions in terms of models and analysis of the results.
- Responsible for the DFMEA of the Motor Pump.
- Contribution to Control plan preparation of the MPU.
What Qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering;
- Fluent in English;
- Key Experiences with Oil Motor Pump (especially for Automotive applications) design & development
